At the end of June we headed to Colorado so Chad could do a little work and Karli and I could do a little playing. We let Karli pick out a new toy at Walmart as we headed out of town, and she was super excited to play with her new "girly" set. She got a purse filled with brushes, curling irons, and pretend makeup. She was in heaven!

While we went to Spring Spree which was super fun! Again, I'm a sucker for a good festival!
Karli enjoyed getting her face painted again- this time she picked balloons.
We also tried another train ride. She did much better this time, but I think it lasted a little longer than she would have liked.
She got to share a funnel cake with grandpa, and a snow cone with grandma. She was pretty much in carnival heaven.
Some of our other highlights:
Watching "The Grinch" (Karli's pick) and eating popcorn with Grandma and Grandpa.
Visiting the Focus on the Family Children's Area.
Karli put on a puppet show and danced for us.
Eating ice cream in the cutest little cafe at Focus on the Family.
Walking to the park to play with Grandma.
