Monday=Funday!

Monday, December 18th

In the morning, the Chad's stayed home with all of the kids while the OG Ottesons headed out to do some MAJOR grocery shopping.

When we got home, Landon and Grandpa had some time to play Sonic against each other on the ipads.

Landon is quite the little gamer, but Grandpa can hold his own.

There may have been some trash-talking going on.

Thank heavens for i pads!

After naps, we headed over to the Tanglin Mall for an authentic food court meal, and the bubbles.

The kids had some fun with the mall toys, as usual.

I wonder if they even know these things can move?

Hmm. Let's keep that our little secret.

We ate downstairs at the Food Court and we picked the most mild food we could find. The Chads were adventurous and ate some local food, while Michelle and I stuck with some beef noodles.

The kids mostly ate chicken and rice...and they even tried chopsticks.

Tricky little things.

After dinner, we went to a juice bar and everyone picked a drink.

Karli picked a peach smoothie which was very yummy.

Ashley also enjoyed Karli's smoothie. The "extra big straw" was pretty much the size of her little mouth.

I had a delicious fresh lime juice and Chad enjoyed a "Coke Light."

Michelle ordered some sort of coconut drink.

When my mom saw what Michelle ordered, she made a weird face.

After we tried Michelle's drink, we understood why.

It was gross.

Looked cool, but was gross.

After dinner, we headed outside to wait for the bubbles.

Unfortunately, we got rained out.

But that didn't stop the girls from having fun!

Dance Party In The Rain!!!!

What you can't see from these pictures, is the crowd of people behind us that were watching the girls dance and giggle. Apparently they were the entertainment for everyone!

Needless to say, it was a pretty soggy taxi ride home!
