First Day of Rest

Sunday, December 18th

9 AM church-Yay!

Here is our best attempt at a picture before church.

The kids are in the lobby right outside of the front door and the elevator was just opening when I took this picture. I think I love these pictures because the elevator is opening and there is some anxious feelings happening about NEEDING to get into the elevator. Just look at Landon and Keely...they are inching toward the door. Even though, if it closed, we could push the button and it would probably be right there waiting for us. For the kids, this was inducing major anxiety. Karli seemed to be clueless.

I shouldn't laugh at causing them anxiety...but...I just did! Too funny really.

After church, we enjoyed a yummy Sunday breakfast with an amazing view.

It's hard to tell what portion of the meal was Ashley's favorite.

Was it Grandpa's fresh whipped cream, perhaps?

Delish.

After breakfast, we all took naps and then enjoyed some time relaxing with each other.

Landon was a big fan of Ashley and she was a big fan of him.

She also enjoyed some Sydney time, despite her post-nap hair-do.

That's a good thing about Ash. She's not superficial like that:)

Isn't this what every Sunday afternoon should look like?

I think so. But maybe with a different show on TV;)
