Hogle Zoo & Heritage Park

We tried to cram as much fun into one day as possible.

First Stop:
Hogle Zoo

You're lucky my mom wasn't able to go to the zoo...I would have had WAY more pictures!

Next Stop:
Heritage Park

Ashley's first order of business was to take a nap.

We learned lots of things about the Pioneers at Heritage Park.
We got to play some of the games they played:
Pet animals like the ones the Pioneers had:
Wash clothes the way the pioneers did:
Ride ponies like the pioneer kids:
Although, I'm sure the circumstances were slightly different for the pioneer children :)
Learn to clean like the Pioneers did:
And finally, go to school like the Pioneers did:
I love this picture my mom took of Karli. She is so sweet.

As we left, these men were singing "All is Well" and it sounded so beautiful. It was so great to come to Heritage Park to learn about the Pioneers and my ancestors. I think everyone should visit Heritage Park. We learned so much about the Pioneers and the kids enjoyed learning also. What fun!

Last Stop:
Dinner at Grandpa Morrison's

Picking and eating raspberries:
Picking and eating fresh peas:
Enjoying a delicious dinner with cousins:
Wow...what a day!
Who is ready for bed??
