The First Two Weeks

I've had 2 kids for 2 weeks now! Wow, that went fast. Here were Ashley's measurements at her 2 week appointment:

Weight: 9 pounds (75th percentile)

Height: 22 inches (95th percentile)

Here are a few pictures from Ashley's first two weeks with us.

Ready to go see her new home!

Ashley's first car ride! Karli got a sucker because she was such a good helper at the hospital. She talked the ENTIRE drive home. "Where's the moon, mom?" "Where's the sun?" "There is a star, mom!" "What are you doing, mom?" After staying in the hospital for two days, I was used to having some quiet time...I forgot how talkative she has become. Gotta love these girls.

Silly Sisters

Ashley was slightly jaundiced so we had to get her blood checked for a week or so. Luckily, she never had to go under the lights like her sister. Here's one of her first laying out experiences. The more UV, the better! That's our motto!

Karli helped me give Ashley her first bath. Overall, both girls enjoyed it :)

Here are some things we have learned about Ashley so far:

-She loves having her hair washed

-She is a VERY loud sleeper

-She is pretty low maintenance

-She loves to be held

-She likes her bouncer

-She does not like the cradle...yet

-She is a great baby!

We're so grateful for Ashley and it's so fun to watch her grow!
