Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

It was a gorgeous day in Colorado, so we headed to the zoo in Colorado Springs. It was pretty awesome. We got to feed crackers to giraffes, walk with peacocks, and learn WAY too much about monkeys and their habits.

Karli didn't want any part of feeding the giraffes, but she liked watching me do it. Now, every time we see giraffes in books, she says "Cack-Cack" for "crackers." When should I explain to her that giraffes in the wild don't actually eat crackers? I'll give it a few more years.
"Monkey...cheese!"

Thanks for taking us to the zoo, Grandma and Grandpa!
