The BIG 3-0

Chad is officially old.

Here are some quotes I found about turning 30. I was hoping they would cheer up the old man, but I don't think they worked.

For his birthday, Chad simply wanted to go out to eat to his favorite restaurant- Old Chicago. PROBLEM: The nearest Old Chicago is in Grand Junction, so thus began Chad's 30th Birthday Weekend Extravaganza.

Swimming at the hotel. This picture here captures how Karli spent a whole hour...LITERALLY. She would climb up the ladder, jump in and go under, then do it all over again. This was the first time she went under water (intentionally) and she was loving it. What a little fish!

Kissing Cousins: Super cute at age one, SUPER embarrassing at age 13.

"Fies." We went to the McDonald's play land to let the kids gets some energy out. After playing for a while, Karli noticed another child had some fries, and she went to her Grandpa and tapped him on the knee and said, "Fies?" Needless to say, she got some fries.

We ate some jelly bellies. Turns out Karli likes black licorice. Sick.

Found a bouncy play place called "Bananas."

Went to the Dinosaur Museum.
