Besties

Meet Brighton.

 She is one of Karli's besties.  Since she was 18 months old, Brighton has come to play at our house once a week while her mom works.  She eats with us, she plays with us, and she naps with us.  So, she's pretty much one of us.  

 Brighton just turned four, and this is the picture that Karli framed and gave to her for her birthday.

Her mom told me that she immediately put it right next to her bed.

I love how Karli and Brighton play together.  Brighton is the youngest of four and is very wise for her age.  She teaches Karli about all of the good things her older siblings teach her.  Karli soaks it right up.  Brighton is also very imaginative and Karli loves to play anything and everything imaginary with her.

Sometimes when Brighton comes over, you can hear Ashley say "NO!!!!"  She knows that for the next few hours, Brighton will get most of her big sister's attention, and that makes her mad.  Luckily, Karli and Brighton include Ash on almost everything they do.
