Do I Need My Shoes On or Off?

Friday, December 30th

After our whirlwind surprise trip to Hong Kong, we were ready to get back home! Well, I guess back to my parent's home. It's funny how when you go on a vacation within your vacation, your first vacation destination starts to feel like home. Did that make sense?

ANYWAYS!
We flew home on Keely's birthday, but she wasn't feeling well and at breakfast she insisted/yelled that "IT'S NOT MY BIRTHDAY!" No one wants to feel crappy on their birthday, so we dropped it. The next day she was ready to have it be her birthday, so we picked it up then :) Gotta love Keely!

Here we are, back in the Hong Kong airport. These kiddos sure are getting to be professional world travelers. Karli started saying things like,
"Do I need my shoes on or off?"
"You have my passport?"
"How many planes today?"
Ashley got to spend some time with her BFF:
My mom got Keely to admit it was her birthday by saying how old she is. Gotcha Keely!
A word about the dresses:
My mom bought the girls these outfits for Christmas. They are mini replicas of the uniforms that the Singapore Air female flight attendants wear.
Here is Karli with our flight attendants.
They LOVED the outfits and after we asked them for a picture, they both whipped out their iphones to get a picture with Karli too.
After the 3 hour flight, we were back at Changi Airport!

That night we had a nice relaxing evening while recuperating from our Hong Kong adventure!
New Year's Eve is tomorrow and our agenda is packed, as usual.
