It's amazing how quickly we adapted to Singapore this time.
We knew the ropes and got right back into the swing of things.
Here is Karli next to the MRT sign:

Grandma saved her MRT card from last time. Karli was quick to learn how to swipe her card at the station.

On our first morning, we headed over to the Novina Mall for a little lunch and shopping.
Here is Grandma walking with Karli to the MRT.
I forgot how quickly Grandma walks! We could barely keep up with her! Those Asians!
Burger King!

After our deliciously American meal, we walked around the mall.
They had an ice rink set up with some ice skaters performing.
Karli was quite mesmerized by the whole thing.

In the picture above, you can see one of Chad's favorite shops in Singapore.
It's a store called Bread Talk and they have all kinds of delicious bread varieties. I think we even bought some that day...just like old times!
The girls also had a chance to play.

Jet Lag 101: Sometimes you HAVE to wake yourself up.
I went in to wake up Karli after her nap, and this is what I found:

Poor little thing. She had been asleep for 3 hours. It was 4PM, but her body was telling her it was 7AM. Ashley looked about the same. Jet lag is killer!
That night, we ventured off to the grocery store and enjoyed a relaxing night at home. Karli and Ashley explored the apartment and we all went to bed early. We knew we needed to rest up because tomorrow... the Mahaffey's will be here!!
