Father's Day Weekend Extravaganza!

Grandma Smith got to come stay with us for a whole week before Father's Day! "We did lots of things!" as Karli would say. We went to the park, we went on errands, we read stories, we did projects, and one of Karli's favorite things:

reading books on the kitchen floor with Grandma Smith.

On Friday, we spent the afternoon at 7 Peaks with Grandma, Tucker, Calvin, and Aunt Holly. So fun! When we arrived home, this guy was there to surprise us!
And boy, was I surprised! I think I screamed.

The next day we took some family pictures up the canyon.
Could these three be any cuter??
Love my big girl!
Love my baby!

My girls are so lucky to have Chad as their Dad!
He is the most patient, hard-working, and loving Dad.
He is even slightly funny also.
Love him!
After church we had a delicious dinner, followed by a pretty intense cupcake contest.
The theme: barbecue grill

I will take it upon myself to give out a few Superlatives:

The award for "First One To Dig In And Give Up on Decorating" goes to Grandpa Smith.
The award for "Most Orange Sprinkles" goes to Karli.
She is also awarded the "Most Interesting Hairstyle and Wardrobe Choice"
The award for "Cutest Decorator" goes to Chad.
The award for "Most Excited Eater" goes to Tucker.
And the "Overall Winner," due to the creative use of toothpicks, goes to Curt!

What a fun Father's Day Weekend!
