A Day in the Life of an 8 Month Old

Karli is 8 months old today, so hard to believe! 

7AM- Wake up and make some singing/gurgling noises until Mom or Dad comes to get me. 

Crawl around and play with Mom, Dad and toys. 

Watch cartoons for approximately one minute (or less).

 Crawl to Mom if she tries to leave me...EVER.

          

8AM- Eat some breakfast, usually oatmeal. 

Play some more. 

Mom reads books while I try to rip them to pieces...darn board books. 

Pull myself up on anything I can (the coffee table, couch, Mom, etc.) 

Find the doorstop in Mom's bathroom to play with while she gets ready.

9:30- Naptime! I love my naps!

11AM- Wake up and play in my crib.

Get dressed for the day. 

Try to rip my diaper off. 

Go on errands with Mom and blabber the whole way.

           

12:30- Eat Lunch, usually rice cereal (my favorite!) 

Play with Mom. 

 Sing songs, read books.

1:30- Naptime! Yes, please!

3:30- Wake up. 

Suck on my blankie. 

Eat some rice puffs. 

Play with toys. 

Crawl around and try to find Mom's phone to suck on. 

Watch Mom make dinner from my highchair.

 Give Dad "Karli Kisses" when he gets home. (Karli Kisses are gentle forehead bonks)

6:00- Eat dinner, usually vegetables. Peas, green beans, and squash are my favorites! Hold the carrots and sweet potatoes, please.

Play with Mom and Dad.

7:00- Take a warm, relaxing bath.  Except-I don't relax! I hate laying down in the bath, I flex my ab muscles to try to get up.  

Try to suck on the washcloth.

7:15- Eat and Snuggle into bed!
