Karli's First Christmas

Karli spent her first Christmas in Colorado with all kinds of people...great grandparents, grandparents, cousins (or I guess, just cousin), aunts, uncles, cousins-once-removed, great aunts and great uncles!  Karli also experienced her first Christmas Marathon Party week.  She's quite the party animal!  In four days she attended three fun-filled Christmas parties at Grandma and Grandpa Smith's house.

The day before Christmas Eve, we had Chad's aunt and Uncle over for some delicious tamales and green chile.  DELICIOUS-I've never been more happy to have married into a Mexican Christmas!  Karli got this cute bib as a present from Aunt Michelle and Uncle Mark...and boy did it come in handy!!

The next night was the big Smith Family Bash.  Karli busted out her adorable Christmas dress and her cousin, Tucker, rocked a Santa suit.  So cute!  We played games (including a personalized game of Mad Gab, which I discovered a hidden talent for), ate great food, and got to visit with everyone.  Chad's aunt did the cutest blog post about our night, so if you want to read more, you can visit Robin's Blog!  It can't be topped!

Christmas day was delightful! Karli got all kinds of neat presents, but of course wrapping paper and bubble wrap were high on her list of things to play with.  She actually got into ripping the wrapping paper off, as you can tell by the pictures.

Funny Thing...I don't think either of these were her presents.  Sorry Uncle Curt! Hope you don't mind.

Karli is a doll and my boys are in love with her. When they heard you were coming to our new year's party they got so excited that Karli would be here. And then so sad that she had a babysitter!
