Happy 4th Birthday Karli!

One of our Birthday traditions: Breakfast in bed!

 FOUR!
Let's not forget about this 'lil chica!

On Karli's actual birthday, Brighton came over to play!
Karli wanted to make some pink and purple birthday cupcakes with her.
 Pouring:
 Stirring

 Frosting:

Decorating:
Kylee stopped in to wish Karli a Happy Birthday.  Perfect timing Kylee!
 Eating and enjoying:
Lydia and Samantha also stopped by with a big cupcake surprise for Karli!
We headed into the garage where Candy Land was still set up to play for a bit.

The day AFTER her birthday, Karli insisted on carrying around her new cookbook she got for her birthday.  Look at those legs crossed!? This girl cracks me up!
As if we haven't celebrated enough, after lunch we cut into the mini cake we made the day before.
And of course, we sang happy birthday again.
But this time, everyone got to blow out a candle!

Celebrating #4 at Preschool

The day before Karli's birthday, Ashley and I got to deliver some treats to the coolest preschool class ever!
Karli wanted to give her classmates donut holes.
So, we skewed 'em up and added some colorful twine.
And, voila!
A beautiful birthday treat.

Her class sang "Happy Birthday" to her while they ate their treats.
Then, the five of us girls headed home to eat lunch, watch a movie, and take some naps!
Tomorrow is the Big Day!
How many times can we celebrate her birthday?!?

Let the Party Begin!
This afternoon, our guests include: Lucy, Brighton, Lydia, Samantha, Zuri, Kylee, Sienna, Tucker, Conan, Michael, Jackson and Bekam.

And we can't forget our wonderful helpers: Uncle Robb, Cassidy, Brielle and Savanna.

One of Karli's favortie parts of her parties: greeting the guests.

We had three stations at the party.  The teacher in me made me do it.  Everyone was separated into three groups and they spent about 15 minutes at each station.  Laugh as you may, this worked like a charm and there was no crying, whining or chaos.  Everyone was having a great time!

Candy Necklace Station:

 Game Board Station:

This is how "Pin the Candy In Karli's Mouth" ended up.
Lincoln nailed it!

Unwrapping Station:
While the music played, the kids passed around a git wrapped multiple times.  When the music stopped, the child holding the present got to unwrap one layer.  The person who unwraps the last layer is the winner and gets to keep the prize!!
Spoiler Alert: Everyone got a prize

After the kids rotated through all of the stations, it was time for some cake!

And, as if they hadn't eaten enough candy already, they got to pick two treats from the treat table to eat as well.  Decisions, decisions.

"Happy Birthday To You Karli!"
What a fabulous party!
Thank you everyone for coming to celebrate this awesome 4 year old.
We love her SO SO SO much!
